Airport security recently took to the Afro of a Black Dallas woman after agents told her they had to check her hair for bombs.
Professional hairstylist, Isis Brantley of naturallyisis.com was walking through Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport headed for Dallas when TSA officials ran her down just to check her hair.
“She took her hand and she started digging around in my hair several times, and I said … Please don’t do this to me. This is humiliating and embarrassing,’” Brantley told KXAS.
Brantley makes the third reported incident of black women with natural hairstyles being subjected to additional search procedures.
