Les Nubians Say It With Their Hair in New "Afrodance" Music Video
The French/Cameroonian sister duo, "Les Nubians" shined their Afropean style in a new light with their latest song and video "Afrodance." The song is off their fourth-coming album "Nu Revolution," which hit stores today (April 19).
"Have you ever danced with your hair?" In a love - hate relationship with hair, "Afrodance" sends the message that there will always be good days and bad days when it comes to hair, but overall there are 101 ways to style it, and be happy with who you are, and what you have to work with.
When watching the highly fashion-forward video of the duo shaking their hair back and forth, and listening to the lyrics "Shake your Afro," one of the first things that comes to mind is Willow Smith's "Whip My Hair." The song is also a partial remix of the 1983 classic hit, "Ride The White Horse," by Laid Back. Check it out below.
