Jamaica Style: LUBICA Slovak Presents BEYOND - A Fashion Film (2012)
Jamaican fashion is undeniably much different than from what's presented here in the U.S. The most obvious reason is the various cultural prints. Other distinct differences include the way the fabrics are cut, and how the designs are worn.
Fashion designer Lubica Slovak recently premiered her LUBICA collection. I won't say Slovak is an unknown designer, because she's been around for a while. She also recently split from the world's fastest runner, Usain Bolt, so I'm sure she's had plenty of exposure. What I will say is, after visiting her website, her collection wasn't all too appealing from the photos. But, in her latest visual LUBICA - A Fashion Film, her designs are all about sex appeal, and that's me. A few of her pieces I would consider.
