Beyonce is making serious rounds ahead of her album ‘4’ release on June 28. She’s appeared on the July 2011 cover of so many magazines, how could anyone keep count and not be confused?
L’Uomo Vogue takes us behind the scenes of its July issue, where Beyonce goes in front of the lens for photographer Francesco Carrozzini, changing into numerous vintage outfits inspired by 1920s screen siren Marlene Dietrich.
“Today we’re going to transform the beautiful Beyoncé into an inspiration of Marlene Dietrich—not your everyday, run of the mill woman,” explained B’s publicist Yvette Noel-Schure. “It’s always somebody special, an artist, someone who as Marlene said you have to treat with kid gloves, these special sentimental creative people.”
