In light of the intense manhunt for ex-police officer Christopher Dorner, and the mysterious end to his story, what better time than now, to celebrate Black History Month by highlighting the style and beauty of the original Black Panther Party.

The style the Black Panther Party portrayed was a big part of the “Black Is Beautiful” movement that began in the 1960's by African Americans. The idea was to dispel the notion in many world cultures that black people and their natural features such as skin color, facial features and hair are inherently ugly.
