How One Man Is Giving Back and Healing His Community

“How can I help the poor if I am one of them? So, I got rich and gave back, and that’s the win win..”

Larry Smith is setting an example for black entrepreneurs. He has become a successful business man, then gave his own money to help heal the community. He buys houses in his neighborhood to help people keep their homes. He fixes and take care of the houses to raise the value. When he didn’t have much he donated to kids who needed sneakers to play basketball for their school team. He is planning to revitalize a historical part of his neighborhood, Jackson Street in Las Vegas to have a place where events can be held. He is starting a learning center for kids to learn everything from education, cooking, and singing. He has given bikes away to random kids in the neighborhood. This is the beginning, he plans to put 5 million in his neighborhood to help it grow.
