Actress Joyful Drake was one of several celebrities who attended the ESSENCE Black Women in Music event, honoring Kelly Rowland. She posed on the red carpet in colorblock jumpsuit by designer Rachel Roy.
My review of this comfortable looking “Writer’s Block Jumpsuit” is not a very good one. For starters, it seems to be made for petite body builds. It runs small, and doesn’t have much stretch near the foot area, which makes it difficult to put on and take off without fear of ripping the threads apart. So, while the design is not a bad look on the eyes, it’s overall a bad fit, making it not worth the price they’re asking for it.
On a more positive note, I’ve tried a few tops from the Rachel Roy collection, and found them to be fairly comfortable. This was the first time actually slipping into one of her jumpsuits. I’m now wondering if all of her clothing is made for smaller body types.
