Denzel Washington has reportedly landed the role of Barack Obama in a new film bio-pic.
Washington said: “It was at the President's suggestion.”
Back when President Barack Obama was the Senator, he appeared on the Tyra Show.
“In a movie, where they were doing an autiobiography of Senetor Barack Obama, who would play you?” asked Tyra.
“Well… initially Denzel would be influenced, but somebody pointed out with my ears, it would have to be Will Smith,” replied Obama.
While details of the film have not be released, it looks like the final decision was left in the hands of movie producers who chose Denzel.
Personally, I think they made the right choice.
