On most occasions we laugh at the sight of such ridiculous acts, but things have now gotten a bit more unbelievably serious.
Reports are circulating that Darlene Green, 79, is being held on charges of second-degree murder for allegedly shooting her 81-year-old husband, Bill, in the head.
The couple who had been married for 25 years were said to be arguing the night prior to the shooting. Darlene told police she went to sleep after Bill tried to “rile her up.” The next morning, she said he shook her awake.
Police reports state that when Darlene came down to the living room to watch TV, “out of the blue” Bill told her he was going to get his gun so she could shoot him. Shortly after, Bill returned with his revolver and handed it to her.
It further states that Bill then “leaned over her and pointed to his forehead, and told her to go ahead and shoot him there.” Darlene Green admitted to investigators she then did just that, then called her four kids and told them what she had done.
