On the last episode of “Fantasia For Real,”Fantasia had a therapeutic moment recalling the night she tried to kill herself. She explained how after being sued by her ex-boyfriend’s estranged wife and facing harsh public criticism, she was just tired and wanted to be alone.
“It was just the weight of the world…. That one moment of feeling like – I'm done with this – I'm over this – I want out,” she said. “Crazy thoughts running through my head…. If I can just go to sleep and don't have to think about anything else…. I ended up taking some sleeping pills. I wanted to go to sleep,” she said. “And then I thought to myself, if I don’t wake up, that’s okay too.”
