Los Angeles based fashion designer, Batani-Khalfani, 25, has to be one of the hottest young up-and-coming African American designers I’ve seen in a while. Not only does Batani have the style sense, she has the attitude that makes her designs speak a language that only the naturally curvy could understand.
“I am an artist. Art is in me and it envelopes me. I like to create striking images, sometimes in your face, sometimes with subtle nuances,” says Batani.
Established in 2008, the Batani-Khalfani collection brings a wide range of unique and edgy designs that are sure to turn heads in a 360 degree angle.
