Flashing Back: Tina Turner in Chunky Chain Link Dress (1960)

Here we have Tina Turner in a classic studio portrait posing barefoot and wearing a Spring/Summer 2010 trending chain-link dress over a bikini, along with chains on her ankles and wrist cuffs. According to the photographer, the photo was taken mid to late 1960s.

Also shown in the image is her “then” husband, Ike Turner, who stands with his hand in his jacket pocket.

Dawn Richard and Kalenna of Dirty Money have seemingly tried to re-create Tina’s 1960 look (all the way down to the white lace panties). They are pictured below with Marvin Bienaim, a new Sean John model, during a recent Los Angeles photo shoot.
