Actress Gabrielle Union is the latest among African American women to be subjected to ridicule by airport security agents because of their choice of hairstyle.
Clearly upset, Gabrielle took to her Twitter page to let out some frustration after her hair weave prompted a security alert at the airport.
Despite the embarrassment, Gabrielle kept a sense of humor throughout the ordeal. Upon boarding the plane she tweeted: ‘Bout to take off…hopefully my weave doesn't cause turbulence…its clearly very powerful.’
And upon exiting the flight, she added, ‘Came home 2 a dead bird whod flown n2 the glass…I suspect my weave had something 2 do w/ the bird murder #killerweave.’
