Cast members from the Fox Broadcasting series “Glee” help prepare fashion lovers around the world for a night of fun-filled entertainment, and shopping until they start dropping during the world’s largest fashion event.
The third annual Fashion’s Night Out is set to kick start Mercedes Benz New York Fashion Week on Sept. 8, and will feature special events and sales sponsored by stores and designers.
In the video, the cast members and Ms. Lynch dance, sing, cavort and walk the runway in haute couture from the likes of Prada, Alexander McQueen, Marc Jacobs and Dries Van Noten, as well as the official FNO 2011 signature tee.
The song on the soundtrack to which they perform is, appropriately enough, the 1980 David Bowie tune “Fashion.”
The video was created by Trey Laird of Laird & Partners, the New York agency that specializes in fashion advertising campaigns. The effort was commissioned by the Fashion’s Night Out organization and Vogue magazine, part of the Condé Nast Publications unit of Advance Publications (source).
