A group of hackers calling themselves “Anonymous Operation Facebook” are allegedly planning to attack the social networking site Facebook on Nov. 5, due to privacy concerns.
The group posted its warning to the public on youtube yestersday, Aug. 9, and say they are doing it for “your own privacy.”
“Facebook has been selling information to government agencies and giving clandestine access to information security firms so that they can spy on people from all around the world. Everything you do on Facebook stays on Facebook regardless of your ‘privacy’ settings, and deleting your account is impossible.”
They conclude their message saying: “One day you will look back on this and realize what we have done here is right.”
Although it more than likely won't happen that “Anonymous Operation Facebook” will be successful with their attempt to take the site down, one can't be 100 percent sure. Therefore, instructions on how to download and save your personal Facebook data can be found when you continue…
