Supermodel Joan Smalls snagged the number one spot on models.com, and she couldn’t be more proud of her accomplishment. Being a black model in the industry, she says: “Some people think it’s a challenge being diverse. You just have to remember who you are, where you come from, that’s why you see me stomp and walk as hard as I can.”
