Karl Lagerfeld, the creative mind behind Chanel, is destined to spread his name around for the budget conscious crowd. He recently unveiled an exclusive line for Macy’s dubbed “Karl Lagerfeld for Impulse,” which includes flowing and perfectly-tailored frocks, tweed and leather, fingerless gloves and printed tank tops and tees. Prices for the collection range from $50 – $170.

On a side note, Macy’s had an awesome eighty-five percent off sale last week, and I managed to get my hands on the last set in my size for this tweed and leather skirt set. As you can probably imagine, I walked away smiling.

Of course, Lagerfeld doesn’t stop there. On Jan. 25, he launched yet another affordable collection in collaboration with online retailer Net-A-Porter. The online portal is said to have a one-month exclusivity deal before the collection is offered on Lagerfeld-branded sites.

Necomer Azealia Banks provided the soundtrack at the launch party for Karl Lagerfeld’s new masstige line. The 20-year-old Harlem rapper was hand-picked by Lagerfeld himself to perform at the opulent dinner held at his house during Paris Fashion Week. Not only did Banks score a custom jumper from Mr. Lagerfeld, she also went home with a personalized iPad. Très chic.
