Black Tree Media caught up with actress' Lauren London and Brandy on the red carpet of ESSENCE magazine Black Women in Hollywood Luncheon to talk about the feeling of what goes on at this event and what it means to them being there. They also touched on current projects and family life.
As part of Black Tree Media's black history segment, both Lauren and Brandy were asked who their hero's were. “Oprah,” they shouted. Lauren also didn't hesitate to give credit to Madam CJ Walker for being the first black millionaire and a God send for her creations. Without Madam CJ Walker Lauren says, “My hair wouldn't be this straight…. Thank you girl for the perm and the pressing comb. We love you.”
