and Chris Rock discovered “Good Hair” and shared his findings with the world; to the moment Chrisette Michele freed herself from harsh relaxer treatments, and a number of haircare manufacturers concocted their first natural hair product lines, natural hair has been all the rage this year.

Bright Colors, long two-tone weaves, deep waves, and bleach blondes were also highlights for 2010.

High Updo’s, Braided Updo’s and long braided plaits were other styles that didn’t go unnoticed…

…as well as vintage rolls, and bowl cuts.

Going into 2011, many of these same hair trends will follow, just as the shaved hair trend did from 2009. It should be interesting to see how natural hairstyles will evolve over the next few years as more women in corporate america continue to make transitions.
