First Lady Michelle Obama’s hairstylist and Soft-Sheen Carson spokesperson Johnny Wright, took to the platform to demonstrate a quick and easy 5-minute hairstyle.
“I’m a big fan of what I call the up-tuck,” said Wright in a past interview. “It works very well with face-framing layers, which most people have. You pin-up all the hair in the back, and then let the front fall naturally. It’s like you’ve gotten a haircut. You kind of fake them out a little bit, and it’s a great way to add versatility to your look.”
The style has been worn by Mrs. O on several occassions in a number of ways, including with and without swooped bangs, bedhead messy, and silky smooth.
