MTV is set to take a journey with an overweight fashion junkie, Chelsea Settles, who is determined to make fashion a career. The only problem, Chelsea is 324 pounds.
This October, the network will premiere Chelsea Settles, a show starring a 23-year old who moves to Los Angeles from her small home town to try to score a job in the fashion industry.
As Chelsea ditches her small town roots for life in the City of Angels, all while struggling to lose weight, her career pursuits meet major obstacles.
She's leaving behind a boyfriend who isn't always supportive, a mom struggling with severe diabetes, and battling her size every step of the way.
The new star will have “an opportunity to expand her social life by confronting the social phobias that have been holding her back,” MTV explains.
