New African Woman magazine just released their Jan/Feb 2011 issue, and they’re talking natural hair!
The editors of the New African Woman feel it’s about time for natural hair to take its “God-given” place in the black woman’s beauty condrum, and they’re not holding back punches on what they call the “hairvolution.”

The Winter issue of New African Woman marks the magazine’s 8th edition, and it’s all about empowering women, celebrating our resilience and strength as well as embracing our natural beauty.
New African Woman is a quarterly magazine that was founded in October of 2009. They currently have an international distribution through IC Publications, recognizing both the French and English language in digital and print. Other publications include New African and African Business.
