Celebrating its 20th anniversary, Design Essentials joined the many manufacturers who are tapping into the natural hair care market by launching their own Natural line of hair care products.
Design Essentials “Natural” was introduced last weekend at the Bronner Bros. International Hair Show in Atlanta, and consists of five products that are free of sulfates, silicones and parabens, mineral oil, paraffin, petrolatum and fragrance, says the companies Director of Education, Rebecca Mariolis. “One of the things that we wanted to make sure with the new line was that we really paid attention to our ingredient using botanicals and essential oils. What we found when we were testing is that it really makes a difference. A positive difference. Now, you can use product with those more-traditional ingredients and be fine, but hair is softer without those ingredients,” said Mariolis.
Cornell McBride, Sr., founder and CEO of McBride Research Laboratory shared some words of wisdom for running a successful business at the anniversary bash held in Atlanta, where the company also put on a hair show debuting its new natural hair care line.
