Oprah Winfrey has admitted that she is not happy with her struggling TV channel. The chat show queen said that the Oprah Winfrey Network, was ‘not where I want it to be’ and that it had to get better.
Winfrey admitted she was not giving enough time to the project and it was suffering as a result. But she begged audiences to wait before making their minds up and asked for a grace period – of three whole years. Is that too much?
After its blockbuster launch in January which saw one million people tune in, ratings for OWN have tumbled and now average about 300,000 in prime time and 150,000 in the day.
