Radio personality Angela Yee of Power 105.1 “Breakfast Club” with Charlemagne the God, confessed her obsession with shoes, and how much her collection is worth, in the latest issue of PYNK magazine. Some of her favorite designers she says are: Christian Louboutin, Camilla Skovgaard, YSL, Brian Atwood, and Miu Miu.
“My whole entire collection? I could probably buy a house. I would say it’s probably worth about $70,000.”
On her most expensive shoes, and how she obtained them, Yee says: “No one ever really buys me shoes – I buy them myself. I think the most expensive pair I have are these thigh-high Louboutin boots. They were like $2,500.”
When asked if she still get the same rush she got when she purchased her first pair of high-end shoes, Yee responded: “I get it more [now] than I did back then because I don’t think my taste was on point yet. When you’re younger, the stuff you like is gaudier. I’m a little more disciplined now.”
