During a House prayer breakfast, President Obama preached a few strong words of strength and encouragement in honor of the upcoming Easter holiday. As he spoke, he claimed his faith in Christ's agony and resurrection is what helped him get through the tough moments of an embattled presidency. President Obama also said:
“In this world you will have trouble.” He repeated himself as he heard an Amen. “In this world, you will have trouble. But TAKE HEART. I have overcome the world…. We are here today to celebrate that glorious overcoming. The sacrifice of a risen savior, who died so that we might live.”
