Queen Latifah New Clothing and Clip-On Hair Collection to Debut on HSN

October 5, 2015

Queen Latifah is expanding her beauty brand from Mabeline cosmetics, to her own clothing and hair collection. Partnered with the Home Shopping Network, Latifah will launch “The Queen Collection” on August 27 during a live appearance.

“The Queen Collection” will consist of handbags, outerwear and other apparel, including riding pants, slouchy blazers, ruffled blouses, scarves and suede moto jackets. Of the collection, Latifah has already chosen the bag line as her favorite.

She told People.com: “I have a bag fetish. I’ll have on sweatpants and a $3000 purse. I don’t deny myself, bags are the one thing I’ll allow myself to splurge on. I think the bag line is going to be really good. It’s versatile so it’s not going to look like the same bag from one collection to the next. There’s something for everyone.

“I definitely want to be able to rock my bag. I figured, if I can rock it, why shouldn’t other people be able to?”

In September, Latifah plans to return HSN to debut a custom line of Natural Wavy Clip-On hair extensions with the network.

“HSN and I have worked closely together to create a high quality hair product for women who are interested in reinventing their look,” said Latifah. “Since my brand philosophy is about instilling confidence in women everywhere, I want to help them transform their look from head to toe.”
