Rep. Sheila Jackson Speaks Against Pepsi MAX's Love Hurts Commercial

Pepsi MAX's “Love Hurts” crash the Super Bowl commercial has been in the center of a race debate since its inception in early January; well before the Super Bowl kicked off. While some people thought not too much of it, and seen it as being pretty funny, not everyone felt the same way. Several protesters found that the commercial played on many of the negative stereotypes that black women face (angry, jealous, violent, etc.), and have made several attempts to get the ad banned.

Rep. Sheila Lee was one of the many black women offended by the ad, and she took to the House floor to speak her piece. Here's what she had to say:
