Is It Possible To Be Sexual Partners and Not Become Emotionally Attached?

November 30, 2015

In a new documentary, Looking for Love, Dr. Umar Johnson says no, not at all. So, get foreal. Looking for Love is new a documentary set to be released soon on DVD. It features a setting where individuals, groups, psychologists and comedians consider love, sex, intimacy, psychology and forgiveness about black love and relationships in the 21st century.

Dr. Umar Johnson one of the contributors in Looking for Love discusses how having sex too soon releases hormones which makes us incapable of making rational decisions in choosing life partners when dating. He explains how it is impossible to have sex and not somehow become emotionally attached.

“You hear women say, well, I can sleep with a guy, get up and move on and it doesn’t bother me. It’s psycho-biologically impossible. When you lay down with someone, your body releases chemicals that automatically begins to bind you to them. This has been proven in biological research. You can never just lay with somebody, get up and move on without some of their energy being on you. This is a neuro-chemical reality.”
