Solange Knowles Makes It RAIN for Clean Water in Africa

March 21, 2015

It's been a while since we've heard Solange Knowles singing any new tunes, but she's back with a hit track to help raise money for clean water and sanitation resources in Africa.

Solange, along with recording artists Chris Taylor, Twin Shadow and director Natalie Johns came together to create “Kenya,” a donate to download track for the Coca Cola Africa Foundation's Replenish Africa Initiative (RAIN).

“To me it inspires hope when it’s more upbeat and spirited, and I think that that is what the conversation should be about,” said Solange of the charitable track.

All proceeds from “Kenya”, will be used to provide clean water and sanitation resources to Africa's most needy. Whether that's providing loos in Rwanda, rain harvesting roofs in Uganda or carrying containers in the Cameroon.
