Steve Harvey sat down and spoke with Rolling Out and gave his opinion of why we have so many troubled and disrespectful youth. Steve says don't blame it on hip hop. Blame it on the fact that being cool has been replaced by being hard. Blame it on the fact that our boys just don't know how to dress.
“You dress up so women can look at you and feel nice about you. These boys now, they dress for each other. Sagging is not for women. Your boots untied is not for women. Your t-shirt in a 6x and you wear a medium is not for women. The size of your hat on your head with a rag up under it; none of that's for women. All of that is so your boy can look at you and go, yeah that's hard,” says Harvey.
“Here's one thing I know about fashion: Every woman likes a well dressed man. I don't care how much you love your little throw back jerseys; how much you love your sneakers when they aint tied up; when you put a suit on, a woman likes her man in a suit.” – The Steve Harvey Collection
