“Last week I slept with 50 men, I only used condoms with 5 men.”
Truckers complain that customs take so long to process papers to cross the border, they become bored and the only thing left to do is drink and pick up prostitutes.
“If a truck driver has more money, we do not force them to use a condom” says one sex worker. “Yes, they will pay.”
Several of the sex workers have contracted sexually transmitted diseases a number of times and now even some are HIV positive.
Still they continue to hop from track to track and get the money they need to pay for food and clothing for their babies.
Some of the workers choose to tell the truckers they have HIV and give them the choice to have sex. Other sex workers just get their money.
