Former supermodel Tyra Banks made her appearance on Good Morning America today (May 16) in NYC, and commended VOGUE magazine for banning underage models and models who appear too thin.
“This is a really big deal, because it’s been an unspoken rule in my opinion, and a lot of models opinions that the fashion inudstry says it’s okay to be as skinny, as skinny, as skinny as you can, just as long as you can be able to stand up and walk and that you don’t faint.” So, it’s a very big deal that “Vogue is taking the initiative to say No, we are not going to condone this…” The question is, why did it take so long?
