Vanessa Williams Continues to Praise her Love for Botox

There’s no doubt in my mind that if Vanessa Williams had dark skin she would bleach it light. But since she already balances out in the skin color category that’s not her issue. Nevermind how you or I might view her as being pretty, Vanessa’s issue has to do with the way she views herself as being the real “Ugly Betty.”

With all the bad botox treatments others have experienced and the claims on botox’s fatal side effects, Ms. Williams insists there’s nothing wrong with it.

Asked by the South Florida Sun-Sentinel why she’s so open about using Botox, the star said, “Why not? Look, I’m 46 years old, but I’m still in the game.

“I work hard at it. I need to look good. But I asked a lot of questions first about Botox.

“I told the dermatologist that I don’t want to be frozen. As an actress I need to have expression in my face. But it doesn’t hurt. It works. But I think you should ask a lot of questions. Make sure you talk to a licensed dermatologist or plastic surgeon.”

This is not the first time Vanessa has expressed her love for botox injections. In a revealing chat with Barbara Walters, which aired on Oscar night 2008, Williams opened up about her “love” for Botox. She says, “I certainly do Botox, which I definitely think that almost every woman that I know has imbibed. It’s a miracle drug — no cutting, nothing — and I love it!”

Showing more insecurities, Williams has also confessed in the past that her biggest beauty obstacle is her skin. “If there’s a day where my skin is not looking great, I have to have more coverage,” said the “Ugly Betty” star. “With high-definition TV, there is no such thing as too much makeup!”
