It was a sad day for R&B singer Bobby Brown today (Jan. 31) as he laid his mother Carole Brown to rest. Ms. Brown passed away on Thursday (Jan. 24) in Los Angeles at the age of 69.
According to several sources, Bobby didn't speak during the ceremony. Instead, he released a statement last Thursday saying, “It is a sad time for me right now. I am experiencing a tremendous loss but I vow to celebrate her life in every way that I can with my entire family, including my fiancé Alicia, and my children Bobbi Kristina, LaPrincia, Bobby Jr and Cassius.”
Whitney Houston who says she would always see Carole as her mother-in-law, was in attendance for the private ceremony held exclusively for friends and family, and is shown in the following video singing “Precious Lord.”
