The late Whitney Houston's private, star-studded home going ceremony was held on February 18, 2012 at New Hope Baptist Church in Newark, NJ. The service was blessed with musical tributes and heart-felt memory speeches from some of her closest celebrity friends. The Reverend Marvin Winans left Houston's family and friends with the subject of “priortizing” before concluding the three-hour-long service for the pop star legend. The message within Winans eulogy was focused on the importance of life.

“Prioritize simply means to arrange in order of importance,” he said. “In other words, setting up your life on things that really matter…. Take no fault for your life what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink, nor yet for your body for what ye shall put on. Is not the life, more than meat, and the body more than raiment? (Luke 12:23).”

Looking deeper, “Your existence on earth has significance,” said Rev. Winans. “Look at somebody and say: I AM SIGNIFICANT.” Everyone has a purpose here on earth. God has a purpose and a plan for you. Live according to his plan.
