I heard someone say, “Black, female, and broke is what you don’t want to be. Old, black, female and broke is even worse,” referring to the low retirement wages paid from holding down dead end jobs over the years.
So, how do we break the cycle? It seems no matter what we do, we just can’t get ahead.
