Erikah Badu premiered the visuals for her latest single “The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face” today, and she, along with her sister Nayrok are giving the world a front row window seat view of their naked bodies.
The video shows Badu nude in the tub, while rocking out to Wayne Coyne. Badu's sister Nayrok joins in alternate reality, admiring the beauty of her completely naked body, which she covers in gold glitter, milk, and a blood-like liquid.
It's really hard what to make of the soft pornographic style video, but according to Badu, “Wayne is the Willy Wonka of music. I didn't know what was going to happen.” After multiple interruptions from Coyne, Badu finally nailed her vocals to satisfaction. “By the 29th time, EUREKA! I understood exactly what I wanted,” she said.
